It's Wednesday, May 30, 2007. I'm thinking of going over to Wavy & Jah's House, a few blocks away from here at Rubicon, down Henry Street. Wavy's doing his art show on Saturday with the new band Revival All-Stars in Marin--I'm planning to go. Although I missed the 71st Birthday SEVA Benefit last week with Mickey Hart. I was planning to go of course--but a lot of money was missing from my bank account. 75% of it went to overdrafts. Now the Internet Radio is playing Midnight Moonlight. I would have gone. They moved it from the
Berkeley Community Theater to the Grand Theater--the new name for old the Avalon Ballroom at Van Ness and Sutter. "The Alaskan morning sunrise will be the brightest you've ever seen." "Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad!"

Will Scooter Libbey Go To Prison?
Well, I'm in the LGBT Computer Lab on Market and Octavia. I just told the lab person that something terrible happened (they like you to rent the computers for the 2nd hour & more for $5/hour): $175 was stolen out of my wallet last weekend. I'm still getting over the shock. No new clothes; I still don't have the BART fare to go to Berkeley tomorrow to get counseling and to register for the first day of the summer session of Berkeley City College. I'd like to visit Henry St. and the Long Haul, see B & Tina (I called Tina and she can't lend me more, tho I haven't told Jah), no restaurants, CD's, other bus rides for the job search etc., calling Laurie, etc., and more. This preacher was preaching, and when he was finished he picks up my wallet off the floor and hands it to me and says, "Is this yours?" I looked in it later and it was empty; there had been $175 in it--what was left for the rest of the month (before getting another job) of my SSI. A black man was mumbling something about "a handgun". I really didn't expect that. There was this New York Times ad in L.A.: "Expect the unexpected." So I guess I'll just have to wait until the 1st again. I put it down to the generalized climate of crime under the Bush regime: Hail to the Thief! Cheney's Chief-of-Staff, Scooter Libbey, got convicted by Republican federal prosecutor Fitzgerald Kirkpatrick of lying to the FBI, obstruction of justice, and perjury about outing CIA agent Valerie Plame about her husband Harold Wilson talking about Bush lying about the U.N. inspectors finding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq as a pretext for starting the failed war.

Memory Almost Full, the new hit album by Paul McCartney
Memory Almost Full, the new hit album by Paul McCartney
Hi! It's Wednesday, June 13, 2007, and guess what? It's my birthday! Happy birthday to me! I'm 58! Congratuolaions for surviving that long! And 58 more! I heard Paul McCartney's new album on the radio this morning, the hit single from the new album Memory Almost Full: "I have too much on my plate/ I don't have time to be a good lover/ I have too much on my mind/ I have a lot to discover/ It went by so fast/ It went by in a flash/ I'm not a part of it/. Maybe I can google the whole lyrics. I have a learning disability, bad memory, possibly Alzheimer's, and I can't remember all the lyrics. I'm going to google the Paul McCartnery website now; I've seen it before. It said on the radio that he's on tour in New York.
I saw the tour when Linda was alive twice at the Forum in Los Angeles. I'm trying to figure out how to get this post to go up and I was kind of lecturing this computer lab roomful of young students. I started out complaining about that as I explored elements of the the the posting for this Blogger program which they have changed and with which I am unfamiliar the class would make noises as a group and disturb and discomfit me and then moved on to how that was "paying attention to to the jot and tittle" and "straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel" and "finding the mote in my eye and ignoring the log in your eye"; quoting the Bible to them thinking they're Christians throwing stones. Then I wento on to a critcism of Christian fascism. And how I've always been a left-wing peacenik.

Second Post, Tuesday, May 22, 2007
Hi, there, from the Berkeley City College Library Computer Lab. I was going to go over to Wavy and Jah's Henry Street House today, because B said, "No contact!" twice on Saturday, but I'm going Thursday after I wash my clothes. B also said (after someone said, "A new one!"), "No, he's an old one who came back!" That's how they talk, I swear. You figure it out; I'm still trying--you bet I'm thinking about it.
Anyhow, I saw a poster for Wavy's art show in Marin at the San Geronimo Community Center, selling art from Stanley Mouse (I've talked to Mouse a coupla times, once at a meeting at the Beatnik Museum in North Beach where Wavy was billed and spoke) and Dave Sheridan and featuring a new band called the Revival All Stars with members of Zero (who played at his 71st Birthday Seva Benefit last Friday at the Grand with Mickey Hart), JGB, and Big Brother. Maybe I can paste in a poster:

EricAbrahamsonsBlogII
Welcome to EricAbrahamsonsBlogII! I'm sitting in the Berkeley College Library Computer Lab on Center Street near Shattuck Street near the downtown BART station in Berkeley, CA, and I'm happy and feelin' good, Praise The Lord!, Amen!, Hallelujah!, Hello Julia! The Chinaman next to me is squirming--must be one of them religious right fanatics. I'm gonna do him in:
666 The radio is playing:
When I was just a little young boy
Mama said, "You"ll never get far!"
Baby, baby wants a diamond ring
Go down to the jewelry store packin' a gun
Dupree said, "I'll pay this one off to you in lead!"
There's no wonder your reason goes bad
Jelly roll drive ya so mad.
Judge said, "Son, it's gonna cost you your life,"
Baby, baby gonna lose her sweet man
Dupree come out with a losin' hand
The judge said, "Son, I know your baby well,
But that's a secret I can't ever tell
First thing ya know your gonna pull that trigger
Some like their jelly, some like gold
Just to get baby a diamond ring.
He's still here
Doesn't understand a word of it, but he's still reading my brand-new blog.
Now they're playing "Mountains Of The Moon".
Fuck off and die.
Hey, Tom Banjo, fuck off and die.
All along, all along the mountains of the moon
Hey Tom Banjo, it's time to matter
The earth you through this time
The earth all through this
Down by the marsh king's daughter
Clothed in tatters always will be taught did you go
High-ho, the carrion crow, fol-de-rol, bend to me
All along, a
Jack Straw by Robert Hunter and the Grateful Dead
We can share the women
We can share the wine
We can share what we got of yours
Cuz we done shared all of mine.
Keep on rollin'
Just a mile to go
Keep on rollin'
My old buddy
You're movin' much too slow.
I just jumped the watchman
Right outside the fence
Took his rings, four bucks in change
Ain't that heaven-sent
Burns my ears to listen
Burns my eyes to see
Cut down a man in cold blood
Might as well be me!
We used to play for silver
Now we play for life
One's for sport and one's for blood
At the point of the knife
Now the die is shakin'
Now the time must fall
There ain't a winner in the game
He don't go home with all
Not with all.
Leavin' Texas
Fourth day of July
Sun so hot, clouds so low
The eagle filled the sky
Catch the Detroit Lightnin'
Out of Santa Fe
Great Northern, out of Cheyenne
From sea to shinin' sea.
Gotta go into Tulsa
First train we can ride
Gotta settle one old score
One small point of pride
There ain't a place a man can hide
Keep him from the sun
There ain't a bed to give us rest now
You keep us on the run.
Jack Straw from Wichita cut his buddy down
And dug for him a shallow grave
And laid his body down
Half a mile from Tucson
By the mornin' light
One man gone and another to go
My old buddy, you're movin' much too slow
We can share the women, we can share the wine.
